Lovelace Road, Surbiton

 

In addition to large strategic housing developments, ABC also provides consultancy on smaller urban projects. We worked with OSP Architects and clients, Vanderbilt Homes, to secure planning for 9 apartments on an existing family house situated on a corner plot in Surbiton.

 

We worked closely with the design team to fully understand the opportunities and constraints of the site in the early stages of the project. We co-ordinated input to the pre-application process with officers at the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Responding to comments received at pre-application stage we worked with the consultant team to prepare a policy compliant development which was granted planning at local level in July 2019.

 

The development is in accordance with the 'small sites' approach for London Boroughs which is being advocated by the Mayor of London in the emerging draft London Plan.
